Happy With "THE SKIN I"M IN!"

My "Skin" was always sort of MY NEMESIS~sensitive, red, prone to minor breakouts. This was mostly resolved when I FINALLY TARGETTED that I was ALLERGIC to WHEAT PROTEIN--which is a COMMON ingredient in skin/hair care products. ( I use soy based hair care products now) ***I was so *happy* to figure that nuisance out because my Mother, Nana, and Sisters have luminescently beautiful skin--I thought "God" was playing a cruel joke on moi! smile
Almost simultaneously--about 9 years ago I started using the Obagi Skin Care System. It's a bit tough to use this in the beginning cuz your skin gets quite a bit "worse" before it gets better. In fact, I gave up using it my first try...but then went crawling back, giving it a second whirl-- and stuck with it. The claims this system makes are ABSOLUTELY true...it "corrects skin function on a cellular level!" I NEVER need a facial with this system--unless I wanna go for just the pampering. I no longer thow money away on Microdermabrasion cuz my skin is always WELL EXFOLIATED with the Retin-A this system uses. One time I went for a facial and the Aestetician was like "your skin is sooo clean and beautiful!" That was the BEST compliment I could EVER GET. And I frequently get compliments on my skin now.
It's a little pricey to start this system--in the $300.00 range...but the products last a long time.
What I love about this system is I no longer am looking, buying, wasting money on trying NEW things--I'm CONSISTENTLY happy with the skin I'm in!

"Over the years, your skin has been exposed to a number of environmental stressors, which cause damage that can reach the deepest layers of your skin. Photodamage, caused by the sun’s harmful rays, is the main cause of the fine lines, wrinkles and age spots that you may already see or you will eventually see on your face. The Nu-Derm System is the physician-dispensed, prescription-strength skincare system that can actually transform your skin at the cellular level. By addressing the signs of photodamage and restoring the healthy function of your skin cells, this system is clinically proven to result in younger- and healthier-looking skin. How It Works
What are the effects of
photodamage on your skin?

As your skin ages and is exposed to UVA and UVB rays, the turnover of skin cells slows significantly, throwing off the balance between the growth of healthy new cells and the sloughing of old, damaged cells. Additionally, collagen and elastin begin to break down, causing the skin to lose resilience resulting in fine lines, wrinkles and sagging. Daily exposure to UV light then accelerates this aging process and may cause uneven coloring.

Signs of photodamage and aging

•Age spots
•Fine lines and wrinkles
•Rough skin
•Skin laxity
•Erythema (Redness)
•Sallowness (Complexion)
•Hyperpigmentation (Discoloration)
How does the Nu-Derm System
transform your skin?

The Nu-Derm System penetrates below the surface of your skin to transform skin cell functions at the cellular level and correct the damage within.

Using a specific dose and frequency that’s recommended specifically by your skincare professional for your skin condition, the prescription-strength system exfoliates old skin leaving healthy, new skin that looks and acts younger and healthier.
“We have used the Obagi Nu-Derm skincare system for 17 years and I have not found any other system that is comparable to the excellent results for rejuvenating and maintaining healthy skin for all skin types and conditions”

My Review on those "Target Boots"

"Don't judge a book by it's cover" is the theme for these boots. Outside these boots are charmingly cute--but inside they are not constructed for comfort. My second time wearing them just may be my last. The tops of my feet, shins, big toe ball mound, knees, and back "ached" after wearing these. The first time I wore these I thought it may have been a "fluke" but now I'm sure...these boots throw a person's posture all out of alignment.
What I thought was a great buy--was just a waste of money.
So the search is on for a great pair of boots!!!

OOTD~Another Rose Spakle Tee with a Payless Scarf

Another Rose Sparkle Tee I nabbed for $24.99 in the store. I went to check out the Aran~ scarves but the colors and the texture of the scarves didn't quite "do it" for me. The scarves seem almost "plasticky."
I went with this scarf at Payless for $12.99--and really liked how it worked with this tee. Did anyone notice the "prices" of some of the new tee's reaching into the $50.00 level~that's interesting in this economy!!!
Enjoy your day, your week, YOUR LIFE!!!

Getting to Know You...Getting to Know All About You...and...NO My Dog is Not a Pocket/Purse Pomeranian!!!

Givin' YOU, the PURSE a HUG, just for being YOU! --Purse is everything I hoped it would be--it just amps up every outfit taking it to another level--another stratosphere!!! I'm wearin' the J. Crew Rose Embroidered Slub Tee--and the other two items are from the Limited--open style sweater and pencil skirt...I have to SLOW my Arse down on the late night chips and dip cuz my booty has "blown up"--so was looking for something that fit comfortably and pulled out this skirt from eons ago!(there's bootylicious--and then there's just BIG BOOTY--it's a fine line! smile) I loved this look today too!
Soooo....they "make" Pomeranians sooo small now...people like to be able to fit them in their Pockets/ Purses! My Dog was sooo cute when I decided to see how much of his body would fit inside this purse. He seemed to really LUVE being in the purse--he was so still--he didn't move. So when I pulled him out it was like...WOW...he is a BIG GUY!!! So he's not a Purse Pom. but he is ALMOST a J. Crew Gallery Hobo Purse Pom.!!! hehe

Why do I Think I'm "ALL THAT" Today!!! hehe

Cuz...I finally...after MANY MOONS...was able to acquire the Metallic Gallery Hobo in the Rose Metallic!!!--and I thought all you Ladies were "ALL THAT" with YOURS--in your IRL's and Polyvore's...so now I'm feeling like I'm "all that too!!!" smile
